I grew up in southern Wisconsin, south of Madison and have lived in Green Bay, Madison, Stevens Point and now Wausau. Wisconsin is quite diverse. Some distinct geographic area include:

The rolling hills of the southern Wisconsin.

The coulee region surrounding La Crosse.

The northwoods

The flat potato fields and cranberry bogs of central Wisconsin.

Two diverse great lakes, Michigan and Superior.

There are plenty of lakes, even more than Minnesota. Just saying.

There are plenty of activities for sportsmen including excellent hunting and fishing, in fact, deer rifle season is practically a state holiday and some regions close school for the week.
